The adventure is in the mining settlement of Torchlight, a thriving
town founded on the discovery of rich veins of Ember a rare
mineral and mysterious with the power to enchant or corrupt all
that comes into contact. This corruptive power may have dire
consequences however, and players set out into the mountains
and depths below to discover the full extent of Ember's influence
on the civilizations that have occurred nearby.
Torchlight initially launch as a single player game independsent,
Torchlight will be released in late 2009, as or in box. Following
the publication of a single player, work will begin on a MMO
version with all the features.
